Villa Catherine – 4BR House + Studio, Lilyfield, Sydney

Positive: Location. Negative: Very deceptive regarding 4 bedrooms. We assumed the studio was included (as it stated 4 bedrooms in booking), however because there were only 6 guests, this was not included. After a conversation with management, it was advised that we would have to pay an extra $200 per night to include the studio. I checked all important and booking information prior to reserving, however the only mention of needing to book for 8 guests was under "host information". Which was pointed out after booking and questioning why it wasn't included. There were multiple cobwebs throughout the inside of the property. The front bedroom door handle also broke whilst we were inside the bedroom, leaving us locked in the bedroom, fortunately there was someone outside the room that could let us out.

A beautiful home - perfect for families with children visiting Sydney. Positive: The property was beautiful and perfect for my toddler - had lots of toys, a trampoline and plenty of outdoor space. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of heating to keep warm. Negative: Not being able to do washing or ironing.
